An original military studio portrait by Mora, Sydney of a Boer War soldier believed to be James Reuben Delore circa 1900. James Rueben Delore was born 1 May 1871, son of Joseph and Mary Delore. He enlisted in the Boer War in February 1900 at the age of 29. Served in NSW Citizens’ Bushmen, ‘B’ Squadron and arrived home 3 November 1900 invalided.
