Abstract/Summary	Now that Jazz is grown and out of the house, her foster mother Carol takes a dangerous turn that threatens Jazz's thirteen-year-old brother Joaquin's life. Child services fails to intervene, and Joaquin is running out of time. Then Jazz gets a blocked call from someone else the law has failed.
